Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently listed as a Nursing Assistant I (NA I) with no substantiated findings of abuse, fraud, neglect or misappropriation of property.
• BCLS certification must be maintained/completed by the end of new hire orientation, typically during the first week of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, equipment and supplies for procedures and provide manual assistance as required.
• Obtain and record patient data for medical records and inform RN/LPN of information collected.
• Administer routine care including feeding, bathing, toileting, ambulation support, and basic patient comfort.
• Turn and position patients, assist with feeding, provide fresh drinking water and monitor patient needs.
