Job summary

The position involves assisting with ADLs, admissions, transfers and discharges, and maintaining a safe patient environment. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, Nursing Assistant Certification preferred, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
• Math computations needed for treatment protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist nursing staff and RN as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Document vital signs and monitor patients as appropriate.
