Baptist Health in Lexington, KY seeks a Nursing Assistant for 1st shift on 5B. You will provide essential direct patient care and support under RN supervision, including vital signs, hygiene, mobility, and documentation.

The role requires a KY Nurse Aide Certification (or nursing program progress) and a current BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Part-time benefits apply to this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current KY Nurse Aide Certification, or completion of first year of Nursing program with clinical rotation validation.
• Basic Life Support: must provide within 30 days of hire if not already present.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including hygiene, mobility, feeding, and positioning.
• Obtain and document vital signs, intake/output, weights, specimens, and other data.
• Perform delegated procedures such as blood glucose monitoring, EKGs, and venipuncture.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and procedures.
