Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; CNA preferred.
• Graduation from an approved Nursing Assistant Training Program preferred.

• Ability to exercise independent judgment and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical patient care under the direction of the Licensed Nurse.
• Assists with activities of daily living (showering, bathing, dressing, feeding).
• Documents and communicates vital signs and other data to staff.
• Collaborates with unit staff for coordinated patient care.
• Uses unit equipment competently and follows safety policies.
• Participates in unit improvement initiatives and reporting.
