Essentia Health in Duluth, Minnesota seeks a Compassionate Nursing Assistant for the Level 16 General Medical Unit at St Mary's Medical Center. The role supports patient care under supervision, including hygiene, nutrition, vital signs, and safe transfers.

Shifts rotate: Day 6:00am-2:30pm, Evening 2:00pm-10:30pm, Night 10:00pm-6:30am, with every other weekend. Eligibility includes 6 months experience or approved training and BLS certification.

Formación

• Must meet one of the listed nursing assistant qualification options.
• Eligible for BLS or able to become certified within one month of hire.
• Must have current registry registration where applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct care to patients under supervision to support safety and comfort.
• Perform personal hygiene assistance and help with nutritional needs.
• Take vital signs and document accurately in patient records.
• Transfer patients safely and promptly report changes to the RN.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment to promote healing.

Educación

6 months nursing assistant experience

Completion of one semester of clinical rotations

Enrollment into Essentia Health Nursing Assistant Foundation Course

Verifiable completion of nurse aide training program

Current registration on state nursing assistant registry
