Job summary

Tech9 Nursing Assistant position in Clyde, OH seeks caring staff to support sisters’ physical, emotional and social needs. Shifts are 2pm–10pm and 10pm–6am, with responsibilities including personal hygiene, daily living tasks, and monitoring vital signs.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to pass drug screening, lifting up to 50 lbs, and dependable teamwork. You will work every other weekend and alternating holidays under the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to pass drug screening and background check.
• Lift up to 50 lbs without restrictions.
• Demonstrate compassion and good communication with residents.
• Availability for every other weekend and alternating holidays.

Responsibilities

• Physical care: shower, oral care, hair care, toileting.
• Emotional care: encourage independence, show respect, spend time with residents.
• Social needs: converse during meals, stroll outside or in hall, engage residents in activities.
• Assist in transporting residents to activities.
• Answer call lights and maintain hygiene after patient contact.
• Change bed linens and keep rooms neat and orderly.
• Deliver meals and snacks; assist eating as needed.
• Provide range of motion exercises when indicated.
• Prepare residents for trips to doctors; assist with bathing and dressing.
• Clean desks, bedside tables and cabinets; manage supplies.
• Empty and clean commodes/bedpans; rinse soiled pads.
• Stock rooms and report changes to charge nurse.
• Handle personal laundry and cleanup spills or accidents.
• May transport residents in convent vehicle or personal vehicle with reimbursement.
• Other duties as assigned by Administrator or Lead Charge Nurse.
