Job summary

Temple-Health seeks a Nursing Assistant to join the 3C Med Surg team on a 36-hour weekly day shift (7am–7:30pm) at the Jeanes Campus in Philadelphia. The role assists the RN with delegated patient care, adheres to the Hospital's Customer Service standards, and reports to the Nurse Manager.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program or current nursing student with at least one clinical rotation; BLS and CNA preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program or current nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation.
• 1 year nursing assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff, plus additional specific functions for which prepared.
• Incorporates the Hospital's Customer Service Program concepts into all patient care activities.
• Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.
