Job summary

Allied Services in Scranton, PA seeks a Nurse Aide/Certified Nurse Aide to assist patients with daily living activities and provide basic nursing care for non-acutely ill individuals. The role emphasizes patient safety, infection control, mobility support, and collaboration with RNs and LPNs to maintain a clean, comfortable environment.

EOE; will participate in in-service education and rounds, and handle routine tasks such as feeding assistance and vital sign monitoring in a supportive team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of Nursing Assistant course preferred.
• Experience as Nursing Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Provide basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients.
• Take and document vital signs; report changes to nurse.
• Assist with mobility and transfers per Safe Handling program.
• Assist with meals and observe dietary restrictions.
• Maintain infection control and proper PPE usage.
• Attend in-service education and rounds; report observations.
