Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of Nursing Assistant course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility.
• Provide basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients under supervision.
• Support patient safety and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Take and document vital signs and report changes to the nurse.
• Assist with feeding and monitor nutritional intake per dietary restrictions.
• Follow infection control practices including proper donning and doffing of PPE.
• Respond to patient call lights promptly and anticipate needs.
• Assist with patient admissions, transfers, or discharges as needed.
• Document observations and communicate with the nursing team.
