Baptist Health System’s Westover Hills Baptist Hospital seeks a patient care support aide to provide basic nursing care under an RN’s supervision, delivering compassionate help to patients across units. The role emphasizes safe, comfortable care and supports the healthcare team in daily tasks.

Eligible candidates with a High School diploma and completion of a Nurse Assistant course, plus CPR/BLS certification, are encouraged to apply; a sign-on bonus may be offered and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• BLS/CPR certification required or obtained with 60 days of hire.
• Nurse Assistant training or EMT/Paramedic/Medical Assisting course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, provides basic nursing care for assigned patients.
• Assists in daily patient care tasks and comfort measures.
• Works in multiple units including Labor and Delivery, Nursery, Pediatric, GI Lab, Surgical Services.
• Participates in care according to policies and safety standards.
