Job summary

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent.
• PREFERRED EDUCATION: Nurse aide course, EMT, Paramedic, Medical Assisting
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years of clinical experience (Inpatient, Emergency Department, or Skilled Nursing Unit)
• REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: EMT/CNA/MA/PCT/EKG Tech certifications
• REQUIRED COURSES/COMPLETIONS: BLS and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention within 60 days of hire or transfer

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of RN, provides basic and intermediate nursing care for assigned group of patients.
• Care for patients aged 15 years and older across multiple units, including General Nursing, Special Care Areas, Labor and Delivery, Nursery, Pediatric, GI Lab, Emergency, and Surgical Services.
