Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program or current enrollment in a nursing program with relevant coursework.
• Foreign-trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license may apply.
• Medical Assistant program background is acceptable.
• CNA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under RN supervision to meet safety and comfort needs.
• Assist the RN in planning and implementing patient care.
• Respond to emergent situations according to established procedures.
• Participate in continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
