Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program preferred.
• May be currently enrolled in a nursing program with Fundamentals of Nursing completed.
• Foreign trained and licensed RN relocating to the U.S. without Michigan RN license may qualify.
• Medical Assistant program with or without experience considered.
• At least one year of NA/PCT/PAT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, performs patient care duties to meet safety and comfort needs.
• Provides input to assist the RN in planning and implementing patient care.
• Responds to emergent situations per established procedures.
• Participates in continuing education.
• Follows system standards of excellence in all interactions.
