Job summary

Kettering Health Dayton is seeking a Nurse Assistant for part-time night shifts. You will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and maintain a safe, clean environment under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

Candidates should have 6 months of patient care experience or Ohio STNA certification, be a nursing student or listed as pre-nursing on transcripts, and must meet BLS requirements within 90 days of hire. Prior healthcare experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months experience in patient care in a healthcare setting, or STNA certification in Ohio.
• Nursing student or pre-nursing as shown on transcripts
• Current employee with Kettering (internal transfer)

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities.
• Monitor vital signs and document findings.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and observe for changes in condition.
• Provide support under supervision of licensed nursing staff.
