Job summary

Kettering Health Main Campus is seeking a Nurse Assistant / Health Unit Coordinator for a part-time, 12-hour shift day schedule. You will support patient care by assisting patients with daily living activities, while also handling essential clerical tasks to maintain smooth unit operations.

Qualifications include at least 6 months in patient care or administrative healthcare experience, or STNA certification in Ohio, plus BLS within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in patient care or administrative support in a healthcare setting, or State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification in Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities and comfort needs.
• Provide essential administrative and clerical support to maintain unit operations and accurate record keeping.
• Support effective communication and maintain a safe, organized environment for patients and staff.
