Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Courtesy Van Driver to support patient transport services. You will operate a Mercy transport van, assist non-ambulatory and ambulatory patients, and ensure safe transfer to and from the vehicle. Inspect the van daily, maintain cleanliness and fuel levels, and communicate with dispatch via UHF radio.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (Class E or equivalent) required.
• BLS certification required.
• Excellent customer service and safe patient transport skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate Mercy patient transport van for pickup and delivery of patients according to guidelines.
• Transfer non-ambulatory patients to wheelchairs and assist ambulatory patients in/from the vehicle.
• Keep van clean, fueled, and report any vehicle deficiencies promptly.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining Mercy's mission and service standards.
