Job summary

WestCare Foundation is seeking a Part Time Support Worker for Marathon, FL to ensure resident safety and well-being in a mental health assisted living setting. You will assist residents with daily living activities, provide emotional support, and help maintain a home-like environment crafted to empower independence.

The role requires a High School Diploma (some college preferred) and the ability to obtain necessary certifications while supporting a compassionate, trauma-informed care approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; degree preferred.
• Two years of related work experience in Mental Health or Substance Abuse preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living (medication assistance, transportation, meals, shopping, etc.).
• Prepare and serve resident meals and refreshments.
• Observe health status and document changes; report promptly.
• Conduct groups and meetings as needed; maintain resident records.
• Promote and maintain a therapeutic residential program; advocate for the agency.
