Job summary

Merrill Gardens is seeking a Senior Living Caregiver to support residents in a Montessori-Inspired Memory Care Community. You will assist with daily tasks, monitor residents, and document care to preserve dignity and independence.

The role emphasizes compassionate, personalized engagement for seniors with Alzheimer’s and related dementias. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, medication support as permitted by state, and daily progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed.
