Job summary

Walk-In Interviews every Wednesday, 1pm-4pm, no appointment needed! Belmont Village Senior Living is hiring a Part-Time Medication Technician in Encinitas to assist residents with daily medications in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community, under the supervision of a licensed Nurse.

You will monitor residents' responses, maintain accurate electronic medical records, and support licensed nurses with administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a Caregiver in a licensed community or facility.
• C.N.A. License in states where required.
• Current Medication Technician or Aide Certification in states where required.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community.

Responsibilities

• Medication assistance and ADL care per physician orders.
• Maintain accurate medical records and report reactions.
• Take resident vital signs and monitor responses.
• Attend shift meetings and update nursing staff.
• Collaborate with team to ensure high-quality care and satisfaction.
• Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
