Job summary

Silverado Lee's Summit is hiring Culinary Aides to create a warm dining experience for residents in memory care. You will assist with food prep, maintain kitchen cleanliness, deliver meals, and set dining areas with care and attention to residents’ comfort.

Ideal candidates hold a Food Handlers Certificate, understand food safety, and can lift up to 50 lbs. English communication, reliable transportation, and a compassionate, team-focused attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Food Handlers Certificate from the County Department of Environmental Health.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations is required.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and kitchen sanitation.
• Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of food service areas.
