Job summary

Grace Management, Inc. is seeking a Medication Technician to administer and supervise medications for residents in our Cave Creek assisted living community.

The role requires careful adherence to physician orders, MAR documentation, and collaboration with the Wellness Director to ensure high-quality resident care. The position involves promoting resident dignity, assisting with daily living activities, and maintaining a safe and compliant care environment.

Qualifications

• Must maintain certification as required by state regulations.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must be in good physical health; capable of lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Completion of drug testing and background check.
• Experience in Assisted Living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer or supervise medication administration per physician orders and MAR.
• Provide physical and psychosocial care promoting dignity and individual choice.
• Manage wellness staffing schedule and coordinate with supervisor.
• Maintain medication cart security and perform narcotic counts.
• Document medications accurately on MAR and ensure timely updates.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Report changes in residents’ condition to Wellness Director or charge nurse.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and follow safety protocols.
