The Legacy at Oak Hill in Austin, TX seeks a Care Aide to enhance the SRIM experience for residents and families by assisting with daily living activities, meals, and social engagement. You’ll work closely with a compassionate team to promote independence and wellbeing.

Responsibilities include monitoring resident health, assisting in dining and activities, and maintaining a safe, clean environment while following policies and procedures. This role requires empathy and effective communication.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Med-Tech certification is required or must be obtained.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer skills to use EMR and standard software.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with ADLs, meals, light housekeeping and laundry.
• Promote dignity, compassion and respect in all interactions with residents and families.
• Monitor health and report changes to supervisor daily.
• Support dining room service and participate in activity calendars.
• Ensure a safe, clean environment and follow HIPAA guidelines.
