Ivy Park Cathedral Hill is seeking a Medication Technician to supervise and assist in medication administration for residents, and to provide direct personal care. The role supports a team-focused, five-star service culture and adheres to nursing standards and company policies.

The position requires at least 18 years old, HS diploma or equivalent, and is based in a premier senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group in California.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience assisting with medication is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus.
• Ability to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with co-workers and other departments.
