Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Medication Technician to supervise and assist in administering medications to residents in a senior living setting. The role involves direct personal care, encouraging resident participation in activities, and collaborating with housekeeping and maintenance to uphold the company’s mission and values.

Qualified applicants will have at least 18 years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferably LVN training.

Qualifications

• Experience in medication assistance at RCFE or similar setting preferred.
• Training/certification may be required per state regulations.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN preferred.
• Ability to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with residents, families, and staff.
• Criminal background check and health screening including TB tests required.
• Vaccination/PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with staff and other departments.
