Job summary

Heritage Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Smithfield, RI, is seeking a Certified Medication Technician for a full-time role with daily pay. You will safely administer medications to residents, observe responses, and support nursing staff in daily care.

Qualifications include valid Medication Technician certification, CNA/CHHA if required, and prior CMT experience. Benefits include tuition reimbursement, health/dental, 401(k) with match, and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Medication Technician/Aide Certification in the state of employment.
• Must also be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA/HHA), as required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents safely and accurately per orders and policies.
• Provide medications via oral, topical, optic, ophthalmic, and subcutaneous routes as allowed.
• Observe residents for responses and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with basic resident care under licensed staff supervision.
• Ensure medications are stored, secured, and accounted for.
