Job summary

MBK Senior Living seeks a compassionate Medication Tech to support residents with medications and daily living activities. You’ll document care, follow physician orders, and work with the health services team to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certification or education as required by state regulations.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid CPR & First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily medications, treatments, and resident care as assigned and within policy and regulations.
• Notify Supervisor if prescribed medication is not administered according to directions and document reasons.
• Maintain confidential records on resident medication and care in accordance with procedures.
• Track all orders for medication changes and/or refills; notify pharmacy of new orders and report missing medications to Supervisor.
• Assist caregivers in performing job duties by fulfilling the responsibilities of the Caregiver job description.
• Document information and communicate observed changes in resident condition to a supervisor.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and resident alerts or requests.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards and procedures.
• Understand and comply with Federal, State, and local regulations and company policies.
• Promote teamwork and open communication; mentor and coach teammates.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
