Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Current Medication Technician certification from a state-approved program.
• Current CPR/First Aid certifications.
• At least 6 months experience in a similar role.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining the physical, social, and psychological environment of residents.
• Administers or assists with self-administration of medication as prescribed.
• Maintains residents' records daily and documents medication distribution, incidents, and observations.
• Observes residents for changes in health and reports to supervisor.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the medicine supply room and participates in audits.
• Provides direct resident care and supports care plan execution.
