Job summary

Western States Lodging and Management is seeking a Compassionate Medication Technician/QMAP to support our Senior Living residents in Mesa. You will administer medications, assist with daily living activities, monitor resident health, and document care and responses under a licensed nurse's supervision.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care, teamwork with the nursing staff, and maintaining privacy and dignity for residents in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA or caregiver certification as required by the state of application.
• Completion of a Certified Medication Technician program or QMAP training as applicable.
• Experience with medication administration and senior care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Monitor residents and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Document medication administration and resident responses accurately.
• Provide skin care and assist with transfers and mobility as needed.
• Offer companionship and maintain residents' privacy and dignity.
