Job summary

Western States Lodging and Management is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician/QMAP to support seniors with medication administration and daily wellness. You’ll work with a supportive nursing team in a resident-centered environment at Legacy Village of Salt River.

Roles include administering medications, assisting with daily living activities, and documenting care while maintaining resident dignity and privacy. We value teamwork, accuracy, and compassionate care for our residents.

Qualifications

• Current CNA or Caregiver Certification in the state you are applying in.
• Completion of Certified Medication Technician program, QMAP or equivalent medication training.
• 0–1 year of caregiving, medication administration, senior living, or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by physicians under the direction of a Licensed Nurse.
• Complete treatments and care tasks within the scope of your training and authorization.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, promoting independence and dignity.
• Monitor residents and promptly report significant changes to nursing staff.
• Accurately document medication administration, services provided, and resident responses.
• Provide skin care and change simple dressings for non-infected conditions.
• Assist with transfers and other physical care needs as appropriate.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and compassionate care to residents.
