Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Active Florida Medication Technician Certification (required).
• Ability to read and understand safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members.
• Must be able to produce a negative drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with self-administration of prescribed medications under nurse supervision, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report changes to the Charge Nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living to promote independence while maintaining safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and uphold resident rights and infection control.
