Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Active state certification in good standing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional appearance and conduct.
• Mature interpersonal skills for coworkers.
• English reading/writing/comprehension with Residents.
• Positive, energetic attitude toward Residents.
• Computer skills to print and enter information about Residents.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
• Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents after a fall.
• Criminal background cleared.
• Health screening within 6 months; TB test annually.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper administration of medication.
• Maintain medication carts and proper recordkeeping.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
