Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be fluent in English and able to read and interpret safety rules, operating procedures, policies and manuals; able to write reports.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and administers medications as ordered by a physician and under the supervision of the delegating nurse.
• Assists residents with ADLs.
• Supports resident care plans.
• Facilitates and/or participates in resident group activities and care conferences.
• Engages residents in meaningful conversation and activities related to their individual interests.
• Maintains a professional approach to responsibilities and confidentiality.
• Supports new resident welcome and assimilation processes.
• Monitors residents for changes in condition and reports changes to the delegating nurse.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
