Job summary

Autumn Village is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide - SIC to support our clinical team in administering medications and providing specialized care to residents. This role emphasizes attention to detail, safety, and collaboration with nursing staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring correct dosage and timing.
• Specialized Care Support: Provide individualized care for residents with specific medical needs and assist with ADLs.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate medication records and report adverse reactions or errors to supervising nurse.
• Resident Monitoring: Observe for side effects or changes in health status and notify the team as needed.
• Medication Storage & Handling: Ensure safe storage and secure handling per regulations and policy.
• Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work with nursing staff and physicians to optimize resident care.
• Compliance & Safety: Adhere to regulations and protocols for medication safety.
