Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• At least six months experience in an assisted living community preferred.
• United States Citizenship or evidence of a valid Alien Work Permit.
• Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in this state.
• Certified as Registered Medication Aide in this state.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents.
• Dispenses medications under the direction of a licensed nurse according to established procedures.
• Maintains HIPAA privacy policies and confidentiality.
• Completes necessary care documentation timely and accurately.
• Helps residents with all personal care functions as needed.
• Observes and reports changes in client condition to supervising staff.
