Job summary

Four Oaks Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to safely administer medications, monitor residents' health, and support the nursing team in delivering high‑quality care.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and compassionate patient care. Candidates should have a state-approved Medication Aide training and an active certification, plus a background check and drug screen clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in healthcare, senior living, or long-term care preferred.
• Active Medication Aide certification in good standing with the state.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Medication Administration: prepare, administer, and document medications per physician orders and protocols.
• Health Monitoring: observe health status, record vital signs, and report changes to nursing staff.
• Resident Engagement: build relationships and encourage participation in wellness activities.
• Safety & Compliance: follow infection control procedures and keep meds carts and records organized.
