Job summary

The Landings of Rocky Mount Mills is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to safely administer medications, monitor residents' health, and support a compassionate care team in Rocky Mount, NC.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, state-approved Medication Aide training, and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Active certification, CPR/First Aid, and background checks are required to join our team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare, senior living, or long-term care setting preferred.
• Active Medication Aide certification in good standing with the state.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Medication Administration: Accurately prepare, administer, and document medications according to physician orders and company protocols.
• Health Monitoring: Observe and report changes in residents' health status and measure vital signs as needed.
• Resident Engagement: Build positive relationships and encourage participation in wellness activities.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow infection control procedures and keep medication carts and records organized and secure.
