Covenant Place is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to safely administer medications and monitor residents' health in a senior living setting. The role supports the nursing team and emphasizes accuracy, compassion, and reliable care.

The position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to high-quality care for residents. On-the-job training and ongoing professional development are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State-approved Medication Aide training completion preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of healthcare/senior living/long-term care experience preferred.
• Active Medication Aide certification in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration: prepare, document, and administer medications per orders and protocols.
• Health monitoring: observe and report changes in residents’ health and vital signs.
• Resident engagement: build rapport and encourage participation in wellness activities.
• Safety & compliance: follow infection control procedures and maintain orderly medication carts and records.
