The Stratford in Weatherhill, NC is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide - SIC to join the clinical team and support residents with medication administration and specialized care. You will document, monitor for changes, and collaborate with nurses and doctors to ensure safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• State certification as Medication Aide preferred; on-the-job training available
• Strong knowledge of medication administration, safety protocols, and infection control practices

Responsibilities

• Medication Administration: Administer medications to residents as prescribed by physicians, ensuring proper dosage, timing, and documentation.
• Specialized Care Support: Provide individualized care for residents with specific medical needs, including assistance with ADLs.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate medication records and report adverse reactions or medication errors to the supervising nurse.
• Resident Monitoring: Monitor residents for side effects or changes in condition and inform the healthcare team.
• Medication Storage & Handling: Ensure medications are stored safely and in compliance with regulations and policies.
• Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work with nursing staff, physicians, and other professionals to ensure quality care.
• Compliance & Safety: Follow regulations and protocols for medication administration and safety.
