Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare, senior living, or long-term care setting preferred.
• Active Medication Aide certification in good standing with the state.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately according to physician orders and document accordingly.
• Monitor residents' health status and vital signs; report changes promptly.
• Engage with residents to promote well-being and participation in activities.
• Maintain infection control and ensure medications, records, and supplies are organized and secure.
