Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program.
• Minimum 1 year of healthcare/senior living/long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication administration.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills; compassionate and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately according to physician orders and protocols; document administrations.
• Monitor residents' health status and vital signs as needed and report changes.
• Engage residents with compassionate communication and participation in wellness activities.
• Follow infection control procedures; maintain organized, secure medication carts and records; assist during emergencies.
