Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or its equivalent.
• Licensed Medication Aide with state-approved training and any necessary examination(s).
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow facility policies and procedures governing the administering of medications to residents.
• Note and report errors in medication administration.
• Assist in developing and implementing procedures to determine and prevent medication errors.
