Qualifications

• Willingness to work on various days of the week.

Responsibilities

• Count controlled substances with outgoing PCA, sign initials.
• Prepare medication and assist residents during meals.
• Assist with pre-breakfast medications by visiting residents' rooms as needed.
• Help residents with post-meal and afternoon medications from med room.
• Assist with injectable medications, ensuring resident self-administration under supervision.
• Watch residents ingest medication and document accurately.
• Update MAR after physician visits and verify orders.
• Ensure residents have necessary documents before doctor appointments.
• Coordinate with doctors and pharmacies for refills and escripts.
• Record all pertinent information in 24-hour log.
