Job summary

Hillcrest Health & Living is seeking compassionate Medication Aides to join teams across Omaha, Papillion, Gretna, and Bellevue, NE. You will assist with medications, provide daily care, and support the nursing team.

We offer full-time, part-time, and PRN schedules, day, evenings, and overnight shifts, with opportunities across multiple Hillcrest communities. Active Nebraska CNA and Medication Aide certifications required; high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Nebrasaka CNA and Medication Aide certifications required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior long-term care or hospital experience preferred.
• Experience in senior living or related care settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication administration per physician orders, care plans, and facility procedures.
• Follow the five rights of medication administration and maintain resident privacy and dignity.
• Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly to the nurse.
• Provide personal care and daily support based on each resident's care plan.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and hygiene.
• Support residents with meals, hydration, dining, and daily routines.
• Document medication assistance, care provided, refusals, and changes accurately and timely.
• Partner with nurses, Nurse Techs, therapy, and other team members to support quality care.
