Job summary

Hillcrest Health & Living is seeking compassionate Medication Aides to join teams across Omaha, Papillion, Gretna, and Bellevue, NE. Positions available across full-time, part-time, and PRN with day, evening, and overnight shifts.

You will support residents with medications, personal care, and daily routines, collaborating closely with nurses and other staff. The ideal candidate holds Nebraska CNA and Medication Aide certifications, with experience in senior care or related settings.

Qualifications

• Experience working with older adults in long‑term care, post‑acute care, hospital, or senior living settings.
• Active Nebraska CNA and Medication Aide certifications required.
• High attention to detail with medications, documentation, and safety.
• Strong communication with residents, families, nurses, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication administration according to physician orders, care plans, and facility procedures.
• Follow the five rights of medication administration and maintain resident privacy and dignity.
• Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nurse.
• Provide personal care and daily support per each resident’s care plan (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene).
• Assist with meals, hydration, and daily routines; respond to call lights timely.
