Job summary

Aura Care Group seeks a Trained Medication Aide (TMA) to administer medications under nurse supervision and provide direct resident care. The role supports the nursing team, ensuring compassionate, timely, and accurate care for residents.

Responsibilities include medication administration, documentation, ADL assistance, and collaboration with interdisciplinary staff to maintain safety and dignity for residents. A current Minnesota CNA and a TMA program completion are required.

Qualifications

• CNA certification in Minnesota is current and valid.
• Completion of an approved Minnesota TMA program.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe medication practices.
• Compassionate, dependable and resident-focused attitude.
• Effective communication and teamwork with care staff.

Responsibilities

• Accurately administer medications as delegated by licensed staff.
• Document medication administration and report changes promptly.
• Observe residents for side effects and response to medications.
• Assist with ADLs including bathing, grooming, mobility and meals.
• Maintain dignity, safety and comfort of residents at all times.
• Keep medication carts and storage organized and clean.
• Collaborate with nurses and staff to deliver high-quality care.
• Adhere to state and facility policies on medication and care.
