Job summary

Inspirations of Bartlesville is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to administer medications and assist residents with daily living in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

You will document medication administration, perform shift-change reports, maintain cart security, and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure safety and quality of care while upholding facility policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Be in good physical health; able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Experience in Assisted Living preferred.
• Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Administers or assists with administration of medications per physician order and MAR.
• Documents medications administered on the MAR accurately.
• Conducts shift change reports with oncoming/outgoing staff.
• Maintains security of medication cart and narcotic keys.
• Assists with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, mobility).
• Communicates with residents, families, and health team; supports resident dignity and individuality.
• Responds to emergencies promptly and reports to charge nurse/Wellness Director.
• Follows infection control, safety rules, and OSHA/CDC standards.
• Ensures cleanliness of residents' rooms and proper sanitation.
• Operates basic medical equipment, copy/scan/fax machines, and telephone.
