Job summary

The Bartlett Skilled Nursing & Assisted Living is seeking an Assisted Living Medication Aide to support residents with medication administration and daily care in a compassionate, professional setting. You will help ensure safety, accuracy, and adherence to facility policies and physician orders.

Responsibilities include documenting medications, following MAR, communicating with nurses and families, and assisting with activities of daily living while maintaining privacy and dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medication Aide Certificate preferred but not required.
• Experience in assisted living, long-term care, caregiving, CNA, or medication-related roles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong compassion, patience, and communication.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete documentation.
• Must pass background checks and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication administration and documentation.
• Follow physician orders and MAR.
• Report medication concerns or adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate medication documentation.
• Assist with medication refills and inventory.
• Follow storage, infection control, and safety procedures.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Respond to resident call lights promptly.
• Observe residents and report changes.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality.
• Communicate professionally with care teams.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Participate in required trainings and drills.
• Perform other resident-care duties as assigned.
