Job summary

Elite Home Care Day Centers & Transportation is seeking a Transportation Specialist to transport members to day centers or medical appointments, ensuring safety and courtesy. You will perform daily vehicle checks, report maintenance issues, and maintain a clean, fueled vehicle for riders.

The role emphasizes high-quality customer service, working with older adults and those with special care needs, and supports both part-time and full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous professional experience with transportation of people including those with compromised mobility requiring wheelchair transportation (preferred)
• Has a clean driving record (required)
• Can meet health requirements of a DOT Physical (required)
• High School or GED equivalent (required)
• Experience in working around older adults and those with specialized care needs (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Transport Members/Riders to Elite’s Day Centers or to medical appointments in a safe and lawful manner.
• Perform daily vehicle checks for wear or maintenance issues and report per policy.
• Greet Riders and Responsible Parties with a high level of customer service.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure adequate fuel levels at all times.
