Job summary

Pueblo of Sandia Health Center is seeking a Vehicle Operator to transport senior citizens and/or handicapped residents to medical and dental appointments, and to assist with related activities. The role includes delivering lab tests, charts, and reminders, plus maintaining fleet safety and cleanliness per clinic protocols.

Candidates must meet basic requirements and be able to handle odd hours; CPR/First Aid are preferred. Valid NM driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age and able to operate passenger vehicles.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

• Transports seniors and disabled residents to medical and dental appointments and activities of daily living.
• Delivers lab tests, charts, X-rays, and appointment reminders as needed.
• Maintains vehicle safety and cleanliness according to clinic protocols.
• Keeps daily activity logs and submits weekly reports to supervisor.
• Works with Community Health Representatives on prevention and outreach.
