Job summary

City Care is seeking an Advocate to support unhoused Oklahomans with complex medical needs. You will transport participants, assist with appointments, coordinate screenings, and help maintain safety and dignity in a compassionate team environment.

The role requires ability to multitask, reliable transportation, and a High School diploma or equivalent. Experience with driving a 12-passenger van is preferred; pre-employment checks apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience driving a 12-passenger van preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Transport medical respite participants to/from appointments.
• Shift report on medical respite participants and maintain whereabouts.
• Safety checks and screenings for participants and items.
• Coordinate cleaning, laundry, meals, and EVS activities.
• Support staff and clients; maintain supply inventory.
• Coordinate appointment scheduling for medical respite participants.
• Wellness checks and intake/orientation when trained.
• Assistance with connections to services.
